Jet fuel coalescer filter is a kind of special filter equipment for purifying aviation kerosene. The filter is designed to remove solid particles, moisture and other impurities from the fuel to ensure the quality and purity of aviation kerosene, thereby ensuring flight safety.

Background: 

In order to ensure that the quality of jet coal is 100% qualified, the oil and gas storage and transportation workshop uses no loading gap to organize maintenance personnel to complete the replacement of jet fuel filter element in time.

Measures: 

In view of the difficulties such as large filter volume, large number of replacement filter elements, narrow disassembly space, tight time, and short construction period, the workshop will assign special personnel to be responsible for coordinating and communicating with maintenance units, connecting operation content and time, and preparing construction materials such as filter elements, gaskets, bolts, and oil absorbing felt in advance. Before the operation, we should carry out safety education and training to inform the security risks and preventive measures that may be involved. During the replacement process, the workshop strictly checked the approval of the ticket, implemented the double guardianship responsibility, and monitored the whole process of the replacement and installation.

Results: 

The maintenance personnel wore protective clothing and gloves in strict accordance with the cleanliness management requirements of aviation fuel, and standardized operation, and successfully completed the filter element replacement work in only 1 day, effectively guaranteeing the quality of aviation fuel.
